Magnetic on the Huamei floor — the materials, the use cases, the operational details.
What it is.
i.A flap that closes itself. Four to eight Type-N neodymium magnets sit hidden under the paper wrap, embedded in the lid and the base. The lid pulls home with a soft thunk and the seam disappears.
Built on the rigid two-piece chassis with a third element — the hinged flap — wrapped in the same stock as the rest of the box. Common on jewellery, watches, and any project where the box doubles as a keepsake on a shelf.
We pull-test every closure: 5,000 cycles, then ten random samples from each batch. Foil and emboss work the same as on a plain rigid. Lead time runs 24–32 days; the magnet sourcing adds about a week.

What buyers ask first.
Huamei · FAQWhat's the minimum order quantity for a magnetic-flap rigid box?
200+ pieces for rigid magnetic-flap construction. Some structures run lower on a per-project quote — ask in the brief.
How long does a magnetic-flap rigid box take to produce?
Samples turn in 7–10 days. Production runs 24–32 days from approved sample. Magnet sourcing adds a week at very low volume.
How strong is the magnetic closure?
Pull-force sits between 6 and 50 grams at 2,800 Gauss, tuned to lid weight and closure geometry. See the magnetic pull-force article for the full range.
