What it is.
i.A matte velvet film laminated to a printed sheet. Scratch-resistant, fingerprint-resistant, slightly silken under the fingertips. Reads as more expensive than the underlying stock — which is half the point.
We laminate after offset printing, before the finishing line. Pairs with spot-UV (gloss-on-matte), foil, and emboss without complication. Soft-touch over a dark Pantone is a Huamei signature for cosmetic and skincare outers.
Adds about ¥2.40 per unit at a 5k run. Runs inside the production schedule — no extra lead time. Not recommended on stocks under 250 gsm — the film stiffens the carton, which can over-stiffen a thin board.

Not recommended below 250 gsm. The film stiffens the carton; on thin board it can over-stiffen and feel cardboardy rather than premium.
